Bernadette Birkett initially appeared in Fairy Tales Can Come True as Tinker Bell, the girl who falls in love with Cliff during a masked party. While that role didn't continue after that episode, Birkett would continue through the remainder of the series in the role of Vera Peterson who is never seen, only heard. This happens in Thanksgiving Orphans (Birkett actually walks onto the set, but her face is covered with a pie), It's a Wonderful Wife, No Rest for the Woody, Look Before You Sleep and Love Thy Neighbor. She's married to George Wendt in real life.
