Synopsis[]
Diane continues to see Derek, and in the meantime is forced to confront her own feelings about Sam. She tries to use the situation to force Sam into admitting feelings for her. Sam also gets a bloody nose after Diane accidentally hits him with the door.

- The famous ending line, "Are you as turned on as I am?", is referenced in a season 10 episode of Frasier, "The Harassed", where Frasier and a colleague, Julia Wilcox; are in an argument similar to Sam and Diane's.
- Clips from the episode were used in The Red Green Show season 5 episode "The Satellite Dish" as part of a Handyman Corner segment.
- The footage of Sam and Diane hugging would later be used in the Columbia House Video Library intro in 1993.
- Sam has a bloody nose after Diane hits him with the door causing him to receive a bump on the nose. This marks the first episode to show blood.
- This episode is the last episode where John Ratzenberger is in the ending credits. Starting with the next episode he joins the opening credits.
